Associate Attorney Position 

Galarnyk & Associates, Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Associate Attorney. Galarnyk & Associates is a respected law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation and strategic counsel across a variety of practice areas. Our firm values integrity, diligence, and a commitment to client service. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing team. 

We are looking for an Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of legal experience to handle a complex and diverse commercial litigation and transactional caseload. The ideal candidate is a self-starting, motivated, detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable attorney who can excel in a collaborative team environment. 

Responsibilities 

  • Manage and oversee all phases of litigation, from intake through resolution 
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents 
  • Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses for depositions and trial 
  • Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings 
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts 
  • Maintain detailed time records and adhere to firm billing practices

Qualifications 

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school 
  • Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the [insert appropriate state] Bar 
  • 3–5 years of litigation or relevant legal experience 
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines 
  • Experience with case management software is a plus
