Dear Clients, Friends, and Family of G&A:
It is with great sadness that we are announcing Andrew Cunniff’s departure from Galarnyk & Associates, Ltd. Andrew has been with our firm for more than thirteen years. Beginning fresh out of school, wet behind the ears, and chomping at the bit to learn the law, Andrew got right to work. In the subsequent years, Andrew grew into an excellent lawyer with an exceptionally broad skillset, serving clients in an almost unlimited capacity and with passionate energy. His work in obtaining incredible victories on behalf of G&A’s clients in the last year alone would require a full chapter. He mentored and taught our young lawyers and staff with gentle effectiveness that has bred deep and enduring loyalties. He became what all young lawyers should aspire to be.
Most importantly, Andrew became a close friend and confidant, whom I have trusted with virtually everything in the office and in my life. He is my trusted advisor and counselor. He is the best lawyer and friend that I could ask for. We will all miss him beyond what our words can adequately describe.
Andrew has made the difficult decision to step away from the demands of our practice in order to be a better and even more devoted father to his three beautiful children and husband to his lovely wife. Once Andrew made this difficult decision, we worked together to help him find a proper place that could take advantage of his legal and practical skills, while allowing him more time with his family. A few months ago, we identified an outstanding opportunity that fits the bill. We are excited for the next chapter of his life and career. He will always remain both a personal friend and a friend to our firm.
Andrew does the right things, in the right way, for the right reasons, all the time. He is what we strive to be.
Here is Andrew’s perspective:
Today, I am closing an incredible chapter of my career at a truly exceptional firm. For more than thirteen years I was blessed to work with and learn from our outstanding team, and particularly fortunate to train under the guidance and mentorship of John Galarnyk. Moving from a junior role to a leadership position here at the firm has been one of my proudest accomplishments. I will always treasure my time and career at G&A and look back with pride at what we accomplished together.
Although I will be starting a new chapter in an in-house role, I leave knowing that the firm and our commitment to our clients – and to our core principle of always doing things the right way – is stronger than ever. I am forever grateful for my time here, and I will remain the firm’s biggest advocate and cheerleader.
-Andrew
